In 2012, final sugar inventory to balance
On officially completing the first months of the new sugar cycle in Mexico, zafranet.com has revised its production and consumption estimates for the 2011/12 cycle.

Contrarily to what agricultural authorities, mill owners and cane associations calculate, zafranet.com, based on a revision of harvested area in Mexico and with the possibility of seeing adverse weather conditions affect cane at the end of the year, maintains its sugar forecast of 5 million tons.
